Shri S. S. Mallikarjun
Dr. Shamanur Shivashankarappa was born on June 16, 1931, in Davangere as the second son of Smt. Shamanur Savitramma and Shri Shamanur Kallappa. Having studied up to the Intermediate level, he pursued a career as an industrialist and has rendered continuous service in the fields of business, education, and co-operation.
In the co-operative sector, he has been serving tirelessly with Bapuji Co-operative Bank since 1972, holding key roles as a Director and later as President. His vision, leadership, and dedication are the prime reasons that have elevated Bapuji Co-operative Bank to a leading position among urban co-operative banks in Karnataka. He was also the Founder President of the Davangere District Urban Co-operative Banks’ Federation.
